  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow or lemon cake mix
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, cubed and softened
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional: zest of 1 lemon
  • Optional: powdered sugar or fresh berries for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the lemon pie filling evenly in the bottom of the dish.
  • Dot cubed cream cheese over the filling.
  • Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the top.
