Skin cleansing:

All dermatologists agree that the most effective way to take care of oily skin and control its oils is to clean it with a suitable and gentle cleanser morning and evening, and not to use an inappropriate or harsh cleanser on oily skin, because in this case, it increases the secretion of oils in it, as well as attention must be paid not to wash the skin with hot water, and this is limited to cold water, because hot water irritates it, and not to dry the skin after washing it with a harsh towel.

Use the right toner:

It is also preferable to use toner because it reduces the secretion of oils, and it also reduces the pores of the wide skin and tightens it, but it is preferable to apply it to oily places only, such as the forehead, chin, and nose, and avoid applying it to dry places of the skin.

Protect it from the sun:

The sun is one of the enemies of oily skin, so it must be protected by using a suitable sunscreen that is free of oils, because oily skin is rather thick, and if traditional protectors are used, it can clog its pores and cause it a lot of problems.

Moisturize it with the right moisturizer:

Many people with oily skin stay away from using a skin moisturizer because they believe that it does not need moisturizing due to the large number of oils it secretes, and because they are afraid of increasing its shine, and on the contrary, oily skin needs a suitable moisturizer to look its best, but this moisturizer must be oil-free.

Use of natural masks:

The use of natural masks, especially clay masks, is very useful in reducing oily skin oils, but it is recommended to apply these clay masks to places that secrete a lot of oils in the skin and avoid dry areas so as not to get drier, and use them only when needed and not daily, for example before an occasion, or once a week.
